The Student Financial Services Department (SFS) helps students put together a financial package for financing their education at The Illinois Institute of Art-Schaumburg. Depending on their eligibility, a student’s financial aid package may include grants, scholarships, student loans and parent loans, which allow students to defer costs that the financial aid package covers.
If at any time during enrollment at The Illinois Institute of Art-Schaumburg, a student’s financial situation changes and they are experiencing difficulty in making the scheduled payments, the student should contact their financial aid officer.
All continuing students who have some form of financial aid (including student loans) are asked to reapply with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by May 1st each year. Campus based funds are awarded on a first come – first served basis.
